Log the workout before you leave

Record every exercise with its weight, reps, or time while the details are fresh. A workout logged from memory an hour later is a workout half invented.

Add one line about how it felt: easy, solid, or grind. That note is what tells you whether to push or hold next time.

Watch trends, not single sessions

Compare your best set per exercise across the last four to six weeks. One bad day means nothing; four flat weeks mean something.

Body weight, sleep, and stress move daily numbers up and down. Strength trending up over a month is progress, even with noisy days inside.

Break plateaus with one change at a time

If a lift stalls for two to three weeks, first check recovery: sleep, food, and rest days. Most plateaus are recovery problems wearing a training costume.

Then change a single variable for three weeks: add one set, slow the tempo, or swap the variation. If two things change at once, you will never know what worked.
