Data tied to your account
Bulky stores the profile, routines, workouts, measurements, preferences, social activity, and Trainer relationships you choose to create. Authentication uses your email and session tokens.
How the data is used
Your data supports training history, progress calculations, account sync, social features, and the settings you enable.
Visibility and Trainer access
Profile visibility and search discovery are separate controls. A public username can create a username.bulky.sh page. A Trainer can access client data after an invitation is accepted, within the permissions granted.
Apple Health / HealthKit and Health Connect
With your permission, the iOS app uses Apple Health / HealthKit for workout, energy, distance, route, heart-rate, and body-measurement data, including body mass. On Android, Bulky reads body fat, weight, height, heart rate, and calories from Health Connect, and writes workouts, distance, heart rate, and workout routes. Access depends on the data types you authorize and the features you use.
You can review or revoke health permissions in Apple Health or Health Connect. The website cannot request these device permissions; it displays Bulky account data that has synced. Health-provider records remain under the provider’s controls.
WHOOP
WHOOP is optional and read-only. Bulky requests access to cycles, recovery, sleep, and workouts and stores encrypted access tokens on the server. Sharing recovery, strain, or sleep with authorized Trainers or Bulky AI is controlled by the consent settings you enable.
Session controls
Web sessions use HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite cookies. Account changes require same-origin requests. You can end your current session in Settings.
Delete your Bulky account
Sign in to the Bulky app and open Settings → Cloud. If Delete account is available in your installed version, follow its verification and confirmation steps. If it is unavailable or you cannot sign in, email support@bulky.sh to request account deletion. Opening this page or a settings link does not delete your account.
Deleting your Bulky account removes your Bulky account data. Records stored in Apple Health / HealthKit or Health Connect are managed separately through that provider; deleting your Bulky account does not automatically remove those records.
Signing out, clearing this device, or uninstalling the app does not delete your Bulky account. You can export the data available to the website from account settings before requesting deletion.
