Overview

An isometric hold on your forearms that trains your core to keep your body straight. It builds trunk endurance with no equipment.

How to do it

  1. Place your forearms on the floor with your elbows under your shoulders.

  2. Extend your legs behind you, resting on your toes.

  3. Form a straight line from your head to your heels.

  4. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.

  5. Hold the position while breathing steadily.

Tips

  • Pull your elbows toward your toes to make your abs work harder.
  • End the set when your hips start to sag.

Common mistakes

  • Letting your hips sag toward the floor.
  • Raising your hips into a pike.
