How to do it
Attach a rope to a low or middle pulley and grab both ends.
Turn away from the machine and bring the rope behind your head.
Step forward into a staggered stance with your elbows pointing forward and up.
Straighten your elbows to extend the rope forward and up.
Return slowly until you feel a stretch in your triceps.
Tips
- Keep your elbows close together and your upper arms still.
- Brace your core to avoid arching your back.
Common mistakes
- Letting your elbows flare wide.
- Moving your upper arms instead of your forearms.
- Arching your lower back as the weight increases.
