Overview
A core exercise where you hang from a bar and raise your legs in front of you. It trains the abs and hip flexors and also challenges your grip.
How to do it
Hang from a pull-up bar with an overhand grip and your arms straight.
Brace your core and keep your legs together.
Raise your legs in front of you until they reach at least hip height.
Tilt your pelvis up at the top to engage your abs.
Lower your legs slowly without swinging.
Tips
- Bend your knees to make it easier while you build strength.
- Pause briefly at the bottom to stop any momentum.

- Swinging your body to lift your legs.
- Dropping your legs quickly.
